1st Annual Bradshaw Trail Run - Saturday, 12-18-10|
Coachella Valley Latino Peace Officer's Association enjoyed the first annual Bradshaw Trail Run. We departed the Coachella Valley near North Shore. Passing through the Dos Palmas area we took off in 12 vehicles, carrying about 25 people. We drove for about 45 miles before stopping at an old abandonded goat ranch, equipped with its own windmill. After a BBQ lunch, we continued eastbound. We ended up on Wiley's Well Road near Ironwood and Chuckwalla Prisons just outside of Blythe. The one-way mileage was approximately 70 miles.
The proceeds of this fundraiser benefitted local scholarship and other community services for the Coachella Valley. We will definitely make this a yearly event!
